Spreading: The spreading is carried out hydraulically via a sliding wedge system. The reel is additionally equipped with an automatic retension system, so that the clamping pressure is maintained for several days.

Counter bearing:
The counter bearing is designed as a ring strut construction and can be attached manually. Two effective quick-release levers ensure a secure hold. The lightweight construction made of square tube profile in an open design has a total weight of approximately 15 kg with an outer diameter of 1600 mm.

Automatic brake control/coil diameter dependent
A diameter-dependent brake control is achieved via a proportional valve. During the acceleration and deceleration phase, the braking effect is automatically adjusted via a correspondingly controlled proportional pressure control valve. This control technology guarantees smooth coil unwinding.
Base frame with motorized lateral displacement of the reel

2 x pressure roller, swiveling: The pressure roller is used to feed the coil into the straightening machine. It also prevents the coil from jumping when the coil strapping is released. The swiveling of the roller, which is coated with plastic, is carried out hydraulically. The contact pressure can be adjusted continuously. The drive of the roller is carried out via a hydraulic motor.
