Built for Demanding Industrial Production

The PEGAS 360×500 SHI-LR is a heavy-duty semi-automatic horizontal band saw designed for daily industrial operation, piece production and small- to medium-batch manufacturing. It is suitable for cutting structural steel, stainless steel, tool steel, solid bars, tubes and profiles with high accuracy and reliability.

The robust welded saw frame and heavy-duty construction provide exceptional rigidity, vibration damping and long service life even under intensive production conditions. The saw head is mounted in preloaded guide bushings with low-friction surfaces, ensuring precise and smooth operation. The blade speed is continuously adjustable from 20 to 100 m/min via a frequency inverter, allowing optimum cutting performance for a wide range of materials.

The hydraulic semi-automatic cycle automatically performs material clamping, cutting, saw head return and vice opening, while loading and unloading of material remain manual. The integrated PEGAS BRP blade load control continuously monitors cutting load and optimizes the feed, protecting the saw blade and increasing productivity. The Mitsubishi PLC control system with touch-screen display provides clear machine diagnostics, cutting parameters and operating information.

Inspection and Test Run

The machine can be inspected and tested under working conditions at our manufacturing facility in Slavkov u Brna, Czech Republic.
