About the machine:

Offered for sale is a Weiler Primus VC lead screw and draw spindle lathe, manufactured in 2012, in very good condition. The control system, in combination with a precision lathe from Weiler, performs the following functions: graphical display of travel paths and travel direction, graphical representation of the coordinate system on the lathe, compensation of tool corrections, zero point shift to compensate for workpiece position, radius/diameter switching, graphical display of the main spindle direction of rotation, and graphical display of the position of the machine's speed potentiometer. This is a very nice lathe with AC drive and stepless speed control of the spindle. All slides move very easily and smoothly. Even at high speeds, the Weiler runs quietly. This newer generation of Weiler lathes is very user-friendly and allows for the production of surfaces that are as smooth as ground surfaces. The digital display from Weiler makes working even easier and more precise.
