Stoiber GmbH StoNail 5000

The StoNail 5000 is a powerful portal nailing machine for the automated production of pallets and crates. With up to eight nailing heads, two work areas, and a 750 mm stroke on the Y-axis, it offers a high production capacity for a wide variety of nailing patterns. The system features a 12-inch touch display, height adjustment, and individual control of the nailing heads. Downtimes are significantly reduced by the optional offline programming, as programs can be created and simulated outside of production. The automatic path optimization also ensures short travel distances and increases the cycle output while reducing resource consumption.

Robust frame with a 65° inclination angle for ergonomic operation.
Machine length: approx. 8500 mm (extendable/shortenable by 2000 mm or as per customer request).

2 pallets: max. 2500 x 1700 mm per pallet
Stop system:
Parallel adjustable double C-rails
Manually adjustable stops for bottom rails, cross rails, and top boards
Rivet plates can be used at all positions

Optional special equipment with laminated veneer lumber for custom templates

Nailing bridge:
Frequency-controlled for positioning the nailing heads
Equipped with 6 nailing head units including feed cylinder, nailing head holder, release and nailing head shoes for limiting the insertion depth
Manual nailing head quick adjustment for different pallet formats
Safety features such as collision monitoring (the movement of the feed cylinder is constantly monitored)

Nailing heads:
Type: depending on customer requirements (Bea, Bostitch, Max, Fasco,…)
Nail capacity: Up to 90 mm nail length (longer nails available upon request)
Option: Maxi-Coil magazines for up to 1000 nails
Programming and control:
Easy operation: Intuitive programming incl. visualization of the product to be nailed (pallets and crates)

Control: Siemens PLC with touch panel
Functions:
Pallet programming directly on the control panel
Pallet and nail counters, the machine stops as soon as the nails are used up
Storage of created pallet programs
Remote maintenance via internet connection
Multilingual operation (German, English, Czech, Polish)

Safety equipment:
Emergency stop button on the machine and on the control panel
Emergency stop at the start on the nailing bridge
