Styrofoam press / auger compactor for EPS and XPS

For sale is a compact system for shredding and compacting EPS (Styrofoam®) and XPS. It is ideally suited for EPS packaging, molded parts, as well as production and cutting waste.
The Styrofoam shredder is located in the upper section of the system. This shredder breaks down the fed material and then transfers it to the lower section of the system. There, the shredded material is compacted using a compression auger and discharged as a compacted material strand.
The significant volume reduction allows for a considerable reduction in storage, transportation, and disposal costs. The compacted material can be collected in a space-saving manner and fed for further processing or recycling.
The system is robustly constructed and has separate drives for the shredder and compression auger.
At the customer's request, we can carry out various modifications and adjustments, for example:
Adjustment or replacement of the mold
Changes to the material inlet or outlet
Adjustments to customer-specific production conditions
Further mechanical or electrical modifications by agreement
