LIEBHERR LC 752

The Liebherr LC 752 is one of the most widely produced hobbing machines in its class: rigid bed, robust milling head, and proven performance in the gear, drive, and supplier industries for spur and helical gears and shafts up to 750 mm in diameter. Serwema Retrofit Solutions, Chemnitz, completely overhauls the machine and delivers it with Siemens Sinumerik ONE, the latest generation of control system with full availability of spare parts and support. Proven Liebherr kinematics, new electrical system, new drives, new safety technology: you get the performance of a new machine at a fraction of the price, with an eight-month delivery time, and acceptance testing is carried out in Chemnitz together with you.

The machine mills spur and helical gears as well as shafts up to module 10, and in a reinforced version up to module 14. With an axis travel of 600 mm between the milling head axis and the table surface, even long pinion shafts can be securely clamped. The milling head swivels by ±50°, the milling head speed ranges from 36 to 360 rpm, the table rotates at up to 18 rpm for small numbers of teeth, and the tangential travel of 200 mm utilizes the full milling head length for long tool life.

The machine is delivered with a new Siemens Sinumerik ONE control system and Sinamics S120 drives in a climate-controlled control cabinet manufactured in-house. The user-friendly interface makes setup and programming possible without in-depth G-code knowledge. Geometric acceptance is carried out according to the manufacturer's standard or DIN, with a protocol. The scope of delivery also includes the complete machine enclosure with safety technology according to the latest standards, a new coat of paint in RAL 5015/7035, a magnetic chip conveyor, circulating and loss lubrication, a hydraulic unit, a coolant system, and the operating manual.
