The GL Compact is a versatile multi-use system that sets new standards in near-patient diagnostics thanks to its small footprint. With minimal effort, it delivers precise results in just 45 seconds. The system is quickly ready for use and meets the high demands placed on laboratory systems thanks to its proven measurement technology.
The parameters glucose, lactate and haemoglobin can all be determined from a single sample, maximizing efficiency and saving time.
The system automatically recognizes whether whole blood is used or not. For whole blood samples, it determines the hematocrit value in addition to the glucose value, providing plasma-related glucose values in accordance with the guidelines. There is no need for daily device maintenance as the system flushes and calibrates itself. This makes it just as user-friendly as a point-of-care test device.
