It’s designed for general laboratory work, including educational, quality control, and routine analytical tasks

Automatic functions at switch‑on: self‑test and calibration. The instrument calibrates itself on

Lamp / filter switching: Automatic lamp and filter selection coupled to the wavelength chosen. For example, if you select a UV wavelength, it will switch in the deuterium lamp; if you stay in visible, that lamp can be turned off to save life.
