1. Core Design and "Hollow Wrist" Technology
The hallmark of the IRB 5400 is its Hollow Wrist (HW). Unlike standard robots where hoses are strapped to the outside of the arm, the IRB 5400 routes all paint and air hoses through the center of the wrist.

Benefit: This eliminates "hose whip," prevents the hoses from snagging on parts, and significantly reduces the risk of paint contamination caused by debris falling from external cables.

Precision: It allows for a very compact and clean workspace, enabling the robot to reach into tight interior spaces like car cabins or engine bays.

2. Integrated Process Solution (IPS)
