The Stork Townsend BBC1500W is a professional, automatic spine cutter, a highly specialized processing machine designed for high-volume slaughter lines and meat processing plants. This device plays a crucial role in processing pork carcasses (particularly bellies and middle pieces) and in the processing of large poultry (turkeys, geese), where the precise removal or scoring of the spine and dorsal ribs determines the classification and final commercial value of the meat cuts.

The machine's mechanism is based on the automatic centering of the product within the working area. The product is fed along dedicated guides, which stabilize the carcass immediately before contact with the cutting disc, which has an optimally selected tooth profile. Thanks to a 1.5 kW drive, the device guarantees a clean, perfectly even cut without bone splinters or tearing of adjacent muscles (such as pork loin or tenderloin). The use of a mechanical cutter eliminates the heavy, dangerous, and inconsistent manual work previously performed with cleaver saws or manual splitters.
