Stationary metal analysis instrument / OES spark spectrometer for copper alloys
Stationary SPECTRO SPECTROLAB F metal analysis instrument for quantitative material analysis
using optical emission spectrometry (OES/spark spectrometry).
According to the available original documentation, the system is designed for the analysis of
copper-based materials. The programs CU-00 for standardizing the Cu base, CU-20 for Cu/Zn alloys,
and CU-70 for Cu/Al alloys are installed and documented.
The spectrometer has three documented optics and measurement channels for numerous
alloy elements and accompanying elements. Among others, it detects Cu, Zn, Pb, Sn, Al, Fe, Ni,
Si, Mn, Mg, Cr, Co, Cd, Sb, P, and S.
Extensive original documentation is available for the instrument, including test and
photomultiplier protocols, configuration documents, standardization documents, and the
operating manual for the Spark Analyzer Vision software. Various re-calibration/reference samples
and accessories are also included.
An existing analysis printout dated December 20, 2022, documents the practical use of the
system for the analysis of CuZn40Pb2 materials. The printout shows measured values for numerous
alloy and trace elements.
Used condition with signs of wear and tear due to age and use.
The instrument dates from 2004. Extensive instrument-specific documentation, accessories,
and re-calibration/reference samples are available. The use and performance of material
analyses are documented by existing analysis printouts from December 2022.
