From the former collection of the Max Planck Institute in Freiburg, we can offer you this highly efficient gene sequencing system, model "NextSeq 500," from the world-renowned brand "illumina."

This system is one of the most powerful and widely used fully automatic gene sequencing systems, and it has become indispensable in virtually every laboratory worldwide. It is primarily used as a high-throughput system for the automated generation of DNA clone clusters through sequencing and primary analysis.

Thanks to its particularly compact design, it is also perfectly suited for smaller laboratories and can be used ideally as a stand-alone device – all the necessary components are already integrated into the device, and complete operation can be performed via the built-in screen and a wireless keyboard.

The device was acquired by the Max Planck Institute in 2016 and has been used very little. It has been continuously serviced by the manufacturer's customer service department and has only completed 395 runs – it is therefore in flawless condition both visually and technically – see the pictures.

The device can be used immediately; however, for the sake of good order, we would like to point out that in a commercial operation, the legally required tests according to MTK/STK must be carried out again.
