Samsung Werkzeugmaschinen Deutschland GmbH is the general importer for Samsung machine tools in Germany, Austria, and Hungary.

In our showroom in Hüfingen, a range of stock machines are permanently under power and available for inspection. Customer reference visits throughout Germany can also be arranged.

Spare parts supply and technical service (qualified personnel) are already ensured via multiple locations throughout Germany.

We have exhibited at the following trade fairs:

SMEC (Samsung Machine Engineering Company) has been manufacturing machine tools in South Korea since the 1980s and was originally founded as a spin-off from Samsung Heavy Industries Ltd. Initially, machine engineering focused on meeting internal demand, such as shipbuilding, offshore drilling rigs, and much more.

In the early 1990s, SMEC obtained licenses from Mori Seiki, OKK, and Toshiba, allowing the company to start distributing its products worldwide. With its own research and development center, Samsung remains at the forefront of technological advancement, consistently further developing its own machine tool range.

South Korean machine engineering has progressed significantly in recent years, having now clearly achieved the highest quality standards. This competitive edge has reduced the appeal of Japanese machine tools, especially due to a better price-performance ratio.
