Kaltenbach Cutting Systems GmbH (KCS) is a leading developer, manufacturer and supplier of semi-automatic and fully automatic circular and band sawing machines, including drilling extensions, for a wide and diverse range of industries and global markets. Our portfolio is complemented by retrofits/general refurbishment of pre-owned sawing machines.

KALTENBACH - a name that stands for more than 125 years of experience in mechanical engineering. Tens of thousands of our sawing machines in use around the world are an impressive proof and the basis for our company's success.

The predecessor of KCS is PROFILTEC Spezialmaschinen GmbH, which was founded in 1987 within the KALTENBACH Group as a specialist in engineering special purpose machines and retrofitting as well as reselling pre-owned KALTENBACH sawing machines and systems since 1996. In 2023, PROFILTEC GmbH was merged with the universal sawing machines business unit of Kaltenbach GmbH+Co. KG - pioneer for the "cut from under" principle for cold circular saws while also being a global market player for semi-automatic and fully automatic circular and band sawing machines - and transferred to a new company.

Now operating as Kaltenbach Cutting Systems GmbH, we are able to professionally refurbish machines from the KALTENBACH product range with the expertise of the manufacturer and with original spare parts for many more years of reliable use.

At our production site in Lörrach, a qualified and motivated workforce of industrial mechanics, electricians and engineers as well as our own teams for purchasing, sales, development, service and shop floor ensure first-class quality. In our production facility at Blasiring 3, 79539 Lörrach, we produce sawing solutions for steel and non-ferrous metals on an area of over 3000 m² with synchronised flow assembly, new cleaning and painting facilities and optimised logistics processes.
