The Marty 881 is essentially a two-component metering and mixing system for reactive resins (e.g., polyurethane): it keeps the two components (typically polyol and isocyanate) in separate circuits, conditions them (e.g., by controlling temperature/degassing depending on the configuration), and meters them using measuring/dosing pumps according to the set mixing ratio. The components are then brought together in the mixing head and dispensed as a precisely defined quantity into a mold/tool or into a process (such as vacuum casting or impregnation). The 881 is particularly used for smaller mixing quantities; as a guideline, very small minimum quantities and delivery rates of up to approximately 1 kg/min are specified.
