Fliegl "Gladiator" – mobile extinguishing vehicle for burning electric vehicles and cars
#Operating principle
- Burning vehicle is pulled into the container by recovery crane and hydraulic moving floor
- Watertight tailgate is closed, container is flooded with extinguishing water from the integrated tanks (up to approx. seat height)
- Battery is cooled with oxygen excluded
- After cooling, the contaminated extinguishing water is pumped back into the tanks and can be disposed of properly
- Crane and moving floor operated from a safe distance
- Suitable for fire brigades, municipalities and technical relief services (THW)

- 2 pairs of clamping screws with toggle fasteners on the tailgate
- Hydraulically movable floor, rear section with steel barbs to prevent slipping
- Recovery crane with control panel and heat shield
- Standing platform at centre, access steps at front left in direction of travel
- Sheet steel mudguards with spray-suppression mudflaps

- Centre-axle trailer, drawbar with certified 40 mm drawbar eye, road haulage version

- Drawbar easily removable – container can remain on its wheels at the incident site
