KraussMaffei serves, among others, customers from the automotive, packaging, medical, and construction industries, as well as manufacturers of electrical and electronic products and household appliances.

KraussMaffei employs around 4,700 people worldwide and maintains a global network with 30 subsidiaries and 570 sales and service partners, allowing us to stay close to our customers at all times.

KraussMaffei’s headquarters have been located in Munich since its founding in 1838. Since April 2016, KraussMaffei has been majority-owned by China National Chemical Corp. Ltd. (“ChemChina”), one of the largest chemical companies in China. Since the end of 2018, the KraussMaffei Group has been listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange under the umbrella of KraussMaffei Company Ltd.

KraussMaffei stands for premium products that are manufactured at 16 sites worldwide, including Munich, Hanover/Laatzen, Einbeck (Burgsmüller), Plauen (Plamag), Manningtree (Pultrex, Essex, UK), Jiaxing (China), Sučany (Slovakia), Näfels (Switzerland, home to subsidiary NETSTAL Group), and Florence (USA).

Currently, KraussMaffei is undertaking the largest investment program in its history to further modernize this long-established company. The Group is investing more than €100 million in new plants, for example, in Munich/Parsdorf, Hanover/Laatzen, Einbeck (for the Burgsmüller subsidiary), and Jiaxing in China.
